How to maintain ultrasonic sensors?

Update Time:2025/6/2

A:

Maintenance of ultrasonic sensors mainly includes the following aspects to ensure their long-term stable operation and measurement accuracy:

1. Regularly clean the sensor surface:
Remove dust, water droplets, oil stains, etc. to prevent affecting the propagation and reception of ultrasonic waves.

2. Check the stability of the installation:
Ensure that the sensor is not loose or shifted to avoid vibration causing accuracy loss or damage.

3. Environmental check:
Avoid working for a long time in harsh environments such as high temperature, strong wind, and highly corrosive gas. If necessary, install a protective cover or shell.

4. Line and connection check:
Regularly check whether the cables and connectors are aging or damaged to ensure that the signal and power connections are normal.

5. Functional test:
Regularly check whether the standard target detects normal response to ensure stable sensor performance.

6. Firmware/system maintenance (if applicable):
If the sensor is equipped with a control system or software, check whether its version and parameter settings are correct.

Through the above measures, the service life of the ultrasonic sensor can be effectively extended and its working reliability can be improved.
